Projects Under Construction

Florida Aquatics Swimming & Training (FAST) Sports Complex
Location: Ocala, Florida
The Florida Aquatics Swimming & Training (FAST) facility will be the premier swimming training and competition venue in the Southeastern United States. Located in Ocala, FAST will feature an indoor 50m competition pool and a 50m/25yd/25m outdoor competition pool. This training facility will also feature a fitness center and seating for up to 2,000 spectators. Construction begins November 2020.
Chiefland Middle-High School
Location: Chiefland, Florida
Phased rebuild of Chiefland Middle-High School into one singular campus.
UAA James W. "Bill" Heavener Football Training Center
Location: Gainesville, Florida
Development of 140,000 square foot indoor training center for the University of Florida Athletic Association (UAA) that will serve as the new day-to-day home for Florida football student athletes and staff. Meeting rooms, locker room, strength and conditioning area, training room and coaches’ offices will be adjacent to the practice field, creating maximum efficiency for the team. Front lower quadrant of building will be for all student athletes and will include a dining hall, lounge and various outdoor activities and amenities. Santa Fe College Blount Center Expansion
Location: Gainesville, Florida
Development of a three story, 86,311 square-foot expansion that will be known as the Blount Campus, complete with classrooms, lab suites and related student support and service areas. Please contact Chris Trowell at ctrowell@parrish-mccall.com for more information.
Elementary School I
Location: Gainesville, Florida
Development of a new 98,228 square foot, two-story elementary school for the School Board of Alachua County. Construction begins June 2020. Estimated completion in June 2021.
Metcalfe Elementary School
Location: Gainesville, Florida
Renovation and redevelopment of Metcalfe Elementary School, including demolition of existing classroom buildings, renovation of administration, cafetorium and media center and construction of a new two-story, 43,000 SF classroom building. The project will improve campus security, enhance instructional areas, renovate existing core facilities to remain and improve site and parking. Construction begins in August 2020.
UAA Offsite Utilities
Location: Gainesville, Florida
Construction begins July 2020. Estimated completion: August 2021.
UF J. Wayne Retiz Union Grand Ballroom and South Terrace Renovations
Location: Gainesville, Florida
Two Separate projects: 1. Renovation of Reitz Union South Terrace, including selective demolition of concrete and existing railings with addition of new railing, umbrellas, seating, monuments and fountain feature. 2. Renovation of Reitz Union Grand Ballroom, including selective demolition, new ceilings, flooring, acoustical treatments, electrical and A/V. Construction begins August 2020. UF Health Shands Level 2 Masterplan Renovation
Location: Gainesville, Florida
Multi-phased 107,178 SF complete renovation of the second floor surgical areas at UF Health Shands North Tower. This three-year project also includes the renovation of the pediatric and adult post-anesthesia care units (PACU). Twenty operating rooms will be renovated along with two hybrid operating rooms and endoscopy and bronchoscopy suites. The project includes lactation rooms, sleep rooms, training rooms, and new locker rooms. All work is being completed while the majority of the second floor ORs remain fully operational.
UF/IFAS Cherry Lake 4-H Pavillion
Location: Madison, Florida
Renovation of existing pavilion, including selective demolition of concrete masonry, framing, wood truss, general trades, roofing and MEPFP. Construction begins July 2020.
