AHCA 100% Survey – PASSED!

On July 29th our Shands project team passed the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) 100% survey for Package 2 Phase 2.4 - Adult Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The 100% survey is a required review to determine if the project area complies with applicable codes and is ready to be used for its intended purpose. This PACU phase included 23 patient recovery bays, 2 pre-op patients rooms, and an isolation recovery room for infectious patients. Phase 2.4 also includes nursing stations, a medicine room, a nourishment room, a clean supply room, a soiled holding room, and a control station. This project was constructed adjacent to active OR spaces and the previously completed pediatric PACU.
