The UF/IFAS Bee Unit, one of the only of its kind globally, is a 7,545 square foot building consisting of offices, laboratory space, teaching rooms, and a honey extraction facility.

The unit is dedicated to improving the health and productivity of bee pollinators everywhere, conducts basic and applied research projects on bees, communicating findings to clientele through extension programming and training future generations of bee educators, researchers, and conservationists.
