UF Otis Hawkins Center for Academic and Personal Excellence

This 82,613 square-foot facility known as the Otis Hawkins Center serves as a campus hub for UF student-athlete tutoring, academic advising, studying, job placement and other services. The center is home to a 125 seat auditorium, 74 study rooms/tutoring labs equipped with the latest digital media resources and an 800-square foot fueling station.

“Succeeding the Gator Way”

Named after Gator Boosters’ original founder Otis P. Hawkins, the center was a long-time goal of former athletic director Jeremy Foley. The construction of this facility showcases UF’s legacy of academic and personal success of their student-athletes.
